Ahmedabad, Sep 15 (IANS) An Ahmedabad resident got a lottery of not two or three hundreds or lakhs, but rather Rs 11,677 crore in his demat account just to be reclaimed in a couple of hours.

The cash was in his record for over eight hours.

Ramesh Sagar has been putting resources into the financial exchange for the last five to six years. A year prior, he opened his demat account with Kotak Securities.

“On July 26, 2022, I got Rs 116,77,24,43,277.10 crore in my record, of which I put Rs two crore in the financial exchange and booked benefit of Rs five lakh. That very evening around 8 to 8.30 p.m, the bank pulled out the sum,” he told IANS.

He said he had gotten a warning from the bank expressing: “There is an issue with edge update in the application. you can keep on setting orders, yet the edge shown won’t be refreshed. We lament the burden and are chipping away at settling this at the earliest.”

Not simply him, numerous other demat account holders were likewise fortunate to hit a bonanza that day.

At the point when IANS attempted to get Kotak Securities’ remark on the issue from the western zonal office (Mumbai), the official on telephone said that the financial backer’s container card or demat account number can’t confirm the case and remark on the issue.
